The next Natural Fibertastic Event will take place on Thursday, 18 April 2019 at the Groot Arsenaal in Bergen op Zoom in the Netherlands. At a Biobased dinner on Wednesday April 17, BIOPEN project partner Sarah Refai (CLIB) will present the BIOPEN platform. It will also be presented during the event at the Innovation Market.
This will be a Biobased Delta collaboration with CLIB, who are both partners in the BIOPEN project.

9:30 – 12:30 Biobased safari: We offer you a safari through various biobased initiatives in the Bergen op Zoom region; such as the Demo hall on the Green Chemistry Campus, a demo at the Plastic Application Centre of the ROC West Brabant and various biobased projects in the outdoor area such as the Zoomland overpass and the biobased staircase in Halsteren. All day long you can be inspired by the innovation market where the latest circular biobased developments and products are presented and there is sufficient opportunity for networking. The plenary program starts after lunch.
13:15 Plenary program Natural Fibertastic 2019
This program is opened by Mayor Frank Petter from Bergen op Zoom. An in-depth assessment will be given on CO2 reduction by biobased materials by key-note speaker Kees de Gooijer, Chief Inspiration Officer from TKI Agri & Food. Practical experiences are shared in the field of natural fiber-based material developments, from raw materials to applications and market introduction. So, if you have a question to the general public, are looking for a solution or want to discuss your issue with another expert; Ask your question in the auction call rounds and we will connect you to the other participants.
